Design Challenge

Glioblastoma Cancer is a Grade 4 Cerebral Cancer that many do not survive. Most cancer awareness marketing materials are concerned with Lung and Breast Cancers. Glioblastoma Cancer does not receive as much funding or attention due to the rarity of the disease.

Solution

After completing research and sketches, a Glioblastoma website, logo, and social media campaign were developed to educate the public about Glioblastoma and honor family members who passed away from the disease. A beta test was completed for users to critique accessibility of the website. Word-Press, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe In-Design were used to develop the finished products.

Project Outcome

The outcome was an accessible initiative that focused on an uncommon cancer rather than a more well-known cancer. The website’s written and design concepts were thoroughly crafted to inform people about Glioblastoma Cancer facts and patient stories. Each of the website’s content elements provide insight into one of the most serious cancers that has been left out of the public’s discourse.
