In historical places, there can be a lack of enthusiasm or understanding of the historical significance to the viewer of artifacts, places, and people. The Ghost Connect app was created to address the need for meaningful connections between historical places and users of the app as well as paranormal investigators. A lack of a technological experience and reach to multiple constituencies required a more sophisticated resolution.

Administering a survey to social media users in order to understand the experience for those interested in paranormal activity, data was gathered and assessed. It was determined that an app was necessary and Adobe XD was used to develop the app. Secondly, A logo was created to convince potential users to purchase the app through identification with paranormal activity and historical information using contrast and hierarchical principles. Utilizing a beta test and creating a logo, the app was distributed to evaluate the accessibility for people with disabilities, the concept and design, and interactive navigation.
